Versailles is a borough located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is a part of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area and has a population of approximately 1,500 residents. The borough is known for its historic homes and buildings, including the Versailles Castle, which was built in the 1890s and modeled after the Palace of Versailles in France. The borough is also home to the McClure Hall and the former Versailles Elementary School, which has been converted into a community center.
